“Working with Noami at Sure Shot Labs was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we reached out with questions about adopting a lab puppy, Noami's responsiveness, kindness, and thoughtfulness were truly exceptional. It became evident that she takes the utmost care for her dogs.
When we brought our puppy Benny home at 10 weeks old, he immediately filled our home with boundless love. Now, after 18 months together, it's clear that these dogs from Sure Shot Labs are bred to be the perfect family companions. Benny is not only smart but also remarkably loyal and loving, making him an invaluable part of our family.
We are grateful for Noami's dedication to breeding such wonderful dogs and highly recommend Sure Shot Labs to anyone seeking a furry friend that embodies intelligence, loyalty, and love.” - A sureshot family member
Naomi of Sure Shot Labradors was the breeder and trainer of our school therapy dog, Buddy. Buddy is a beautiful, smart and friendly chocolate lab, who after six months of Naomi's training, was delivered to become a therapy dog at an elementary school. She immediately began making a difference at our school, greeting visitors, playing with students, and most importantly, providing comfort to children experiencing trauma outside of school. Buddy is calm and obedient, and she quickly became the number one reason children and teachers love coming to our school!

If I could give Naomi 1,000 stars I would. I don’t think you could find a more genuine, educated, & outstanding breeder than Naomi. I was on her waiting list for a puppy for a year and once there was any update, Naomi would always text me with updates. She went out of her way after the puppies were born to send me photos almost every day. If I had any sort of question, she was there and answered anything I had. The day of puppy pick up it was pouring rain so we had to move the puppy party inside her home (which is lovely!) and even with things having to change from how she normally does things due to the weather, she still managed to keep things going smoothly & took her time with everyone there to pick out the perfect puppy for us. Her dogs were healthy & well taken care of and so were all of the puppies! Even after we brought home our Nova (formally known as Bluey) she was there to help. I’m so excited to not only know Naomi as a breeder, but as someone I can continue to share Novas adventures with. You seriously cannot find someone better. She’s a blessing in this community & if you’re looking for an American lab puppy, she’s your gal! Thank you 1,000 times Naomi!

I started training gundogs in 2002 after purchasing a field trial quality puppy. I had her trained by a professional field trial trainer. Learning from them. I continued Rose’s training as she became a professional hunter. I became a trainer. Not knowing better, I would purchase labradors from any backyard breeder I could find. Because of that, I ended up with a few puppies with birth defects that I wasn’t prepared to look for. One day I was directed to Naomi when I needed a pup to train.
For about three years, I purchased dogs from Naomi for hunting dogs, but one day a lady from Florida contacted me wanting a dog with a strong nose that could track her runaway autistic son.
That started my passion for training service dogs. So in 2005 I started buying dogs from my breeders hand picked for service dog careers. This is when I learned that Naomi‘s dogs are genetically tested to be void of canine diseases and defects.
And as amazing as it may sound I no longer found puppies with birth defects, such as misshapen jaws, or recessed vulvas. Never any hip or eye problems.
I found out that Naomi. Doesn’t let her little mothers give birth in a dog house in her back yard. They have permanent beds in the house and Naomi is present every time to assist with the birthing process, catching each baby, cleaning airways, massaging the pups chest to get them to breathe that first breath! Then weighing every puppy so she can track their progress. Buying a puppy from Naomi you can be assured that your baby did not hit the ground when it was born it was loved from the moment it presented into this world!
Naomi can tell you that I have always been one to spend an hour to choose a puppy to take home and train as a service dog. These last two years I have watched Naomi start service dog training herself, and I have been giving her advice as she has needed it. This last year Naomi chose a dog from her litter named Buddy to present to a school principal who had lost his school therapy dog. Naomi chose the puppy, raised and trained the puppy, and presented Buddy to the principal to replace his dog that had passed away from cancer.
After seeing how well Naomi had done with her selection of her dogs and training of Buddy, I decided this last month that I wanted Naomi to choose two puppies from her litters, a black and a fox red for me! I told her what I wanted the dogs for and the choice was totally hers. I brought her puppies home and they were about already half potty trained, one feature I have not found from other breeders. Not an easy task when dealing with 19 puppies at once; a black - and a red litter!
I have not been disappointed in the red puppy that Naomi said was a hugger and the black worked out well too! We live on 5 acres and the pups run loose with my 3 adults and they all come running when I rattle the food dish.
Naomi’s pups know what it is to be loved and handled and they crave that attention.
If you tell Naomi what you are looking for in a puppy, house pet, cuddle bug, service dog, easy to train, fast to learn, hunter, not afraid of new situations! Naomi can point out the pup she sees as the one to best fill those needs!
Naomi by the time her pups are 8 weeks old has introduced her babies to a puppy obstacle course, and kept score of their individual progress.
Training service dogs, when people come to me and tell me what their needs are, I can tell them I have the perfect dog for them because I know my dogs and what they have learned!
Naomi can do much the same with an 8 week old puppy, because of the individual time and training she puts into her babies.
If you want that once in a lifetime dog, you will find it at Sureshot Labradors.
I’ve had the pleasure of getting a furry family member from Sure Shot Labradors, and I can't express how delighted I am with the entire process. From the initial inquiry to bringing our new pup home, every step was handled with professionalism, care, and a genuine passion for the well-being of their dogs.
First and foremost, Naomi impressed me with her commitment to responsible breeding practices. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and the dogs are clearly loved and cared for. She took the time to educate me about the breed, its specific needs, and provided comprehensive information about the puppy's health history, vaccinations, and feeding schedule.
Communication throughout the process was exceptional. Naomi promptly responded to my inquiries, providing updates and pictures of the puppy's growth and development. This transparency and open communication made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable.
When I met my new puppy for the first time, it was evident that she had put time and effort into socializing the pups. Our little one was confident, well-adjusted, and already familiar with basic commands. It's clear that Sure Shot Labradors goes beyond just breeding; they genuinely care about producing well-rounded, happy dogs!

Our sweet dog Callie is now 8 years old. We met Naomi of Sure Shot Labradors back when we were looking to add a puppy to our family after losing a previous lab. We admired that Callie’s parents were well trained, on-site and had won obedience awards. Naomi invited my daughter to her 4H dog project classes. My daughter has been participating in 4H ever since and has the most special bond with Callie. We truly could not ask for a better dog and are so thankful we found Sure Shot Labradors. We have become friends with Naomi and are always happy to come socialize her darling puppies.

Getting our puppy from Sure Shot Labradors was such a blessing. I can’t stress enough just how much Naomi’s care of breeding, care and initial training of the puppies makes on the life of the dog.
Our puppy, now an adult dog is very confident, trusting, curious, happy, loveable, friendly, and was born with insane instincts!
We never had to train him how to go poop outside, retreive anything or swim. He has never chewed anything up; he prefers games instead: he picks things up in his mouth, shows us his find, and then wants us to chase him. He loves to play ball, frisbee, and stick.
His most favorite activity is to swim. We were blown away when we took him for his first dock diving class, the instructor told us that our dog had perfect dive form, something that takes most dogs a while to learn. I attribute his confidence, curiosity, friendliness and instincts to Naomi. We are so happy to have found Naomi at Sure Shot Labradors.
